Tutor needed Barnes, Richmond upon Thames, London.
There is currently a position open with a family living in Barnes, Richmond upon Thames, London within close proximity to the London Wetland centre. The family are looking for a lead/experienced therapist to assist in the home schooling of their 2 boys with an ASD diagnosis The candidate must be available to work at their address, during the hours are 9-12.30 (or 9.30-12.30 on a school day) and 3pm-5pm at the moment. Likely to increase by an hour over the next 6 months and certainly by school (which starts Sep 2013). The sessions they aim to fill are for Tuesdays and Thursdays starting ASAP.
The family would like someone who can become part of the existing team long term and transition with the boys to mainstream primary next year.

I am looking for an internetship/job during summer 2013.
I am currently working as an "ABA-Consultant" in Cologne Germany, which means I am supervising ABA-programs of several families. I worked as ABA-Tutor while my studies in psychology and started working as a consultant after graduation in july 2011. I further started studying the Masters in ABA in September 2011.
There are two aspects of work I would really like to focus on in the course of an internship/job:

I have been an ABA tutor for three years within the London area. I was working for an established company before going self-employed with Peach. Then I went back with the company as the Co-Senior tutor.
I have just completed an intensive CELTA course (teaching English as a foreign language to adults) as well as a PTLLS course (Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector).
