VB Community - Teaching to children with autism

Part time tutor wanted to join our ABA therapy team.

I am looking for someone with ABA experience to join our team in teaching my 4 year old son who has ASD.

We are running the home ABA programme with guidance and support from PEACH (www.peach.org.uk)

Our son is a sweet and friendly boy who is verbal and has very few challenging behaviours. The programme focuses on teaching him conversation and play skills and supporting learning needed for his part-time hours in mainstream school.

An experienced and /or qualified tutor will also need to be involved in some aspects of running the programme and training other team members/school TAs.

Ideally we need someone to work for two or three sessions per week in afternoons or Sat morning.

The programme runs all year round and we ideally need someone who can commit to additional shifts in the school holidays. Reliability is very important.

Good rate of pay available for the right person.
