VB Community - Teaching to children with autism

Hi,

I am a 2007 1:1 Psychology graduate from the University of Manchester. Currently I'm a Senior Therapist working in the UAE for a California-based ABA provider (www.steppingstonesca.com), doing home based ABA therapy. I have over 1500 therapy hours over 8 different amazing children, aged 3-11 years, both verbal and non-verbal, and have been trained under the supervision of our clinical director. I am also a school shadow for one of my 8 yr old clients. We use PECS, social stories, OT recommended sensory activities and interventions to manage difficult behaviours, teaching with both the 7 step method and incidental play-based methods. I love my job and my kids, we have a lot of fun :)
