ABA VB Community - Teaching to children with autism

Facilitator/shadow for 5 year old boy with Autism. To accompany him in mainstream school, to swimming, adapt work to suit him and helping to adapt planning.
He has got high functioning Autism and is quite able. The main problem areas are expressive language and social skills.
This boy can be quite impulsive and occasionally aggressive towards the other children, which would require his "shadow" to intervene-this occasionally requires quick thinking and flexibility. His class teacher has limited special needs experience and will occasionally need help to adapt the class planning to suit him. The position would initially be offered for one term as his statement is being reviewed and we are not sure if he is going to stay at the school.
