Hi,

We are a Canadian family with a 6 year old son who has PDD-NOS and we reside in Kuwait. We require an ABA Behaviour Therapist/Shadow Aide to join our team.

Our son's ABA/Verbal Behaviour program is being supervised and training is being provided by a U.K. Center. Our son has been on this program for the last 4 years and has seen progress.

Emphasis will be placed on one-on-one therapy to develop verbal skills; although therapy will also be required to develop other skills such as imitation skills, play skills, social skills, self-help skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills.

Data recording and attending team meetings will also be required.

This is an opportunity to travel and help a child at the same time.

Competitive non-taxable remuneration including basic annual salary range US$60,000-US$70,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus benefits which include airfare, accommodation allowance, government health insurance, paid public holidays, paid sick days and professional development or health club allowance will be provided.

There is no income tax or sales tax in Kuwait.

The responsibilities of the ABA Behavioral Analyst include implementing his Verbal Behavior therapy, including one-on-one therapy to develop his verbal skills, functional skills, play skills, social skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills. The supervision and training will be provided by a well-renowned U.K. Center, C.E.I.E.C.. Our son's Verbal Behavior program has been supervised by C.E.I.E.C. for the last 3 1/2 years and has assisted tremendously in his progress.
