We are looking for a tutor to work with our 18 year old non verbal autistic son. He has recently started to display quite challenging behaviour. We would like an individual that has a flexible and positive approach in dealing with difficult situations. He is not undergoing any ABA programme but we do try and apply the principles of ABA whenever possible.
An experienced tutor would be preferred as we would also welcome any training to deal with aggressive and obsessive behaviours. Initially we would ask for a weekly commitment for two hours (after school hours) to be discussed.

ABA Tutor needed in Queen's Park NW10
I am looking for a tutor for Rollo, my 15 year old autistic son. He has a home programme every afternoon from 3.30/4.00 - 6.30. The programme is carefully managed and there is a supervisor to oversee the progress of the programme. Rollo is partially lingual and learning very well. After working for years to reach this level, the programme is mainly concentrating on language, reading, writing and number work. Rollo is now well focused and his progress is very exciting for all of us.
