ABA VB Community - Teaching to children with autism

I'm an experienced aba tutor who is looking to work on an aba programme. Have 3 full days available. Have VB experience, PECs and Makaton experience as well as shadowing in schools running social skills groups. Have great references, CRB, willing to travel within london and on borders and can start straight away.

At 'Keys for Learning' we specialise in working with children experiencing behavioural difficulties, autism and other developmental delays. Ultimately our aim is to unlock your child’s potential through designing individually tailored programmes to target your child’s greatest needs.

We use a range of techniques, underpinned by the evidence-based principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to teach skills that are underdeveloped. Target areas include communication, play skills, social skills, adaptive living skills and school skills.

VB/ABA therapist required for our 3 year old autistic son who combines a home education programme with attendance at a local mainstream preschool.

Our son is verbal and a fast learner with a sense of humour so we are looking for someone dynamic and imaginative to work with our Lead therapist in delivering his tuition.

Experience in ABA preferred but we would consider training for the right candidate. Good English essential as well as the ability to work in a team. EN8 (Herts, Enfield, Essex border)

Shadowing

This presentation includes information regarding shadowing techniques including prompting, reinforcement, task analysis, promoting communication and interaction. It includes a variety of ways in which the national curriculum can be differentiated within schools. In addition to this, professionalism in schools is addressed including working as part of the class team. The course also provides the following;

Hello, my son is 22 months old and has been diagnosed with Autism. I am looking to set up an ABA programme for him. Looking for ABA tutors. All training will be provided. (Experience not necessary but will be considered to be a plus). Successful candidate should be enthusiastic, reliable, good with time keeping and serious to help my little boy. Ideally i want someone who is local and will be able to do the role for the length of the entire ABA programme (roughtly about 2 years). This is a part time opportunity for someone who is looking for experience working with a child with autism.

Facilitator/shadow for 5 year old boy with Autism. To accompany him in mainstream school, to swimming, adapt work to suit him and helping to adapt planning.
He has got high functioning Autism and is quite able. The main problem areas are expressive language and social skills.
