I work in a primary school in the mornings (mon-fri) and hence am looking for a school shadow post in between 12:30pm and 3pm. I have over two years experience of working in primary schools with mixed ability children. I have a family member on the ABA programme for 2.5 years and have attended every team meeting. I am quite familiar with the ABA principles and techniques but don't have much formal experience and hence am only seeking a school shadow role (term- time).
We are based in Truro, Cornwall and looking for someone to help our 15 year old son develop social skills out of school hours. He followed an ABA programme until aged 12 and now attends a very small autism specific school.
We are looking for 9 hours spread across the week, either after school or over the weekend. Time to be spent out and about or also in home working on social skills, games, and reading.
Possibly two people working together.
Hourly rate up to £15.00 depending on experience.
